Program Assistant Intern Overview
Location: Music Box Foundation Main Facility - 6843 S. Harper, Chicago 60637
Reports To: Program Manager / Marketing Manager / CEO & Executive Director
Duration: 10 weeks, Summer 2025, 05-26-2025 through 08-02-2025
Compensation: $15 per hour
The Program Assistant Intern will support the planning, coordinating, and execution of programs and events within our leadership team. This position offers hands-on experience in project management, communications, and operational support. The intern will work closely with program staff and external stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to the overall success of ongoing initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting notes
Support the coordination of program logistics, including events, workshops, or webinars
Conduct research and compile reports to aid program development and evaluation
Help maintain program documentation and update internal databases
Communicate with stakeholders, partners, and participants as needed
Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, and tracking expenses
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement program improvements
Assist in drafting newsletters, social media posts, and other communications
